Himolla Sofas & Recliners | The Largest UK Display

We came 150 miles to visit the showroom to see Himolla sofas and chairs and both agreed it was really useful to travel as the staff were so knowledgeable- it’s not just about style but the fitting for our dimensions! We had an extremely warm welcome with toilets hit and cold drinks and parking all on offer. So it is definitely worth coming up to Harrogate to get proper advice- quite superior to anything on offer in the southern area we live in.

My husband has an aggressive, terminal illness and I urgently needed to find him a suitable, swivel recliner chair, preferably electrically operated. I also needed it sooner rather than later, so a 12 week order lead time was not going to work for us. Having searched for a chair locally (we are in Kent!) I discovered Smiths of Harrogate online and telephoned them. John Chamberlain was extremely helpful and advised me that they did have a chair available that fitted my remit, but that they did not deliver to Kent. John sent me photographs and a video of the chair in action and I said that I would look into how we could arrange collection. However, the following morning just after 9am I received a call from John to say that he had spoken to their transport company who were prepared to deliver the chair to us at a minimal cost - much less than it would have been for me to hire a vehicle to collect. John also pointed out that due to my husband's condition, we were eligible to purchase the chair less VAT and he forwarded to me the necessary document to complete and return. I am thrilled to say that the purchase and arrangements were completed within the hour and we are looking forward to delivery next week. The service received from Smiths of Harrogate (John in particular) is exemplary - how refreshing to be treated so well. I cannot recommend this firm highly enough, as I am sure that all their employees have the same friendly, informative, "can do" , efficient attitude. Five stars plus!

I spoke initially on the telephone to discuss the various models of Himolla sofas available. The salesperson, was knowledgeable, polite and prepared to discuss purchase options. I travelled over sixty miles, based on this conversation, to try the options available. I was not disappointed. The range was extensive. I was able to try out numerous styles, try different cushion firmness, see multiple colours of leather and wood frame and reclining options. Nothing was too much trouble for the salesperson who guided my wife and I through the selection process. The model we decided upon was made with an informed decision with absolutely no second thoughts, as is often the way when buying expensive items. Due to the thorough, patient, attentive manner of the salesperson exactly the right sofa was chosen. Thank you

Highly recommended. A wonderful store with a vast display of high quality furniture. Customers are valued by the courteous and knowledgeable staff. On this occasion we only went to purchase a Himolla recliner chair, the range was wide leading to some confusion on our part. Chris expertly guided us through the selection process, pointing out the models most suited to my body size. From a short list of two I made my selection on my preferred chair style. Invaluable assistance, will return for future purchases of well discounted stock with free delivery.

Christopher gave us excellent care and attention. His knowledge of the product was exceptional and his advice was excellent. We hope for many happy years of use of our new sofas and will certainly use Smiths again.

A good range of quality furniture at competitive prices and Christopher was very helpful and knowledgeable.

We first dealt with Smiths seven years ago buying two Himolla chairs. The price was so much better than we were able to get locally in Scotland. We actually came down to Harrogate to complete the deal and had a couple of days holiday on the savings made. We have just returned to buy a matching sofa and were pleased to find the same immaculate showroom with its calm atmosphere. We dealt with Chris who was friendly and extremely helpful. There are no no pushy sales people at Smiths all of which makes for a pleasant experience. I can recommend this firm wholeheartedly.

We are looking to buy to buy Himolla chairs and were attracted to this store by the claimed stock levels and choice. This was our 1st visit and we found this to be an accurate statement with a huge choice of chairs. Our salesman Christopher had a wide knowledge of the product and was particularly helpful and patient in our decision making which led to us placing an order. If the remainder of the process leading to delivery remains at the same level of efficiency we will be highly delighted.

A great selection of Himolla's various ranges, lots of help and explanation but no pressure to buy able to spend as long as necessary trying out various items. We did buy as it happens so we'll see how accurate the lead in times are!

Thanks vm to Malcolm helping me choose beautiful Himolla sofa today ???? Also kind and helpful to my brother with mobility problems. Enjoyed our visit. Beautiful store and excellent shopping experience.

A very pleasant experience. The showroom is extensive and comfortable. The salesman was both professional, helpful and knowledgeable and not at all pushy, we were even offered cups of tea/coffee, which is a first for us in a furniture showroom. The ordering process was easy. I would certainly recommend a visit to Smith's the Rink if anybody is considering purchasing any furniture, we will certainly be visiting again for any future items that we require for our house. I will update the review on the delivery and installation of our new Himolla suite. I hope that the overall experience with Smith's will be as good as the initial visit.
