Himolla Stratus 2.5 Seater Manual Recliner Sofa

The Himolla Stratus 2.5 seater manual recliner sofa uses the cumuly action allowing independent operation of the footrest and backrest. The recline function uses a gas spring which is operated using a matching leather or fabric loop located next to the arm of the users seat - when this is pulled up it allows the backrest to be moved into your chosen position and when released will stop. The built in footrest folds out from under the seat and is used by pushing back in the sofa and allows the footrest to open into the fully open position.

The cumuly action is Himollas recline function - it refers to how that when the footrest opens the backrest also moves slightly backward to increase comfort. This allows you to fully appreciate the lumbar support by slightly tipping you into the backrest for excellent comfort.

A modern design the Stratus recliner features contemporary styling while maintaining practical comfort from the high headrest and excellent lumbar support. As a manual recliner this model features adjustable headrests and a built in footrest and reclining back.  

The Stratus is one of the more contemporary recliners available in the Himolla collection with the option of sleek metal legs in a stainless or anthracite finish, this range does not lose any of the comfort and support often associated with modern designs. A generous high back and discreet lumbar support from the back cushion ensure excellent lower back support.

The Stratus recliner is also available as a Wall Hugger action (Model 4091) requiring 14cm of wall clearance to fully recline.
