The Himolla Azure 2.5 seater electric wall hugger recliner sofa is one of the most popular sizes with 2 individual powered seats offering generous seating space of 20cm more than the standard 2 seater. The electric recliner action requires 14cm of wall clearance to fully recline. Using a single motor system on each side for the recline function is operated using a control panel located to the side of each seat.
The wall hugger action uses a single motor action for the footrest and backrest, when the control panel is pressed the footrest opens progressively and once in its fully open position the backrest will begin to recline. This action requires just 15cm when compared to the standard 42cm of a non wall hugging variant.
The electric version allows the footrest to be stopped in your chosen position and provide leg support, this is a great advantage when compared to a manual version whereby the footrest opens into the fully open position for support. The electric wall hugging Azure sofa has the option of an external rechargeable battery for wireless use - this is perfect for when the sofa is positioned away from a power outlet. Requiring a single Himolla battery to operate the sofa you can expect 150 full movements between charging, which is typically 2-3 weeks of use.
An electrically operated headrest is easily adjusted to offer head support when reclined allowing you to relax in comfort. With a choice of over 100 leather and fabric options each Azure sofa is made in Germany with a choice of seat form tensions and a selection of leg finishes including a wooden foot option.
The Azure is one of the more contemporary recliners available in the Himolla collection with the option of sleek metal legs in a stainless or anthracite finish, this range does not lose any of the comfort and support often associated with modern designs. A generous high back and discreet lumbar support from the back cushion ensure excellent lower back support. The Azure recliner is also available as a Non Wall Hugger action (Model 4080) requiring 42cm of wall clearance to fully recline.
