What is the difference between himolla leather grades? - The simple answer is quite a lot.
Each grade of Himolla leather offers its own choice of colours - the colours do not carry between the leathers but there is a noticeable feel in the way the leather feels but also how it has been produced & sourced. The top grades of leather are european hides meaning the climates the leather originates ensures less grain correction or visual improvements required to improve the visual appearance of the leather. Semi Analine leathers are used in grade 24 leathers and above, our best selling grades are Grade 31 & Grade 33 both of which offer the softest feel

Longlife Grade 33 Leathers - Best Selling Grade
Our top grade of leather available - The softest and warmest feeling grade of leather with regular embossing for grain consistency
Longlife Grade 31 Leathers - Best Selling Grade
Very similar to the grade 33 leathers, generally a final decision for our customers comes down to a colour choice between the 31 & 33 grades rather than a quality choice, the grade 31 leathers have not had the same level of embossing and offer a more varied look in grain and consistency.
Longlife Grade 24 Leathers
The Longlife Grade 24 leathers have 2 swatch books each with a very different feel, the 24 Longlife Rustika leathers are a thick heavily embossed leather - often referred to as a bull hide. The 24 Longlife swatch offers a smoother appearance in the leather with a softer feel compared to the rustika.
Longlife Grade 22 Leathers
The longlife grade 22 leathers offer a consistent grain pattern from the embossing applied to the leather - The hides are not sourced from Europe with
Grade 18 leathers
The Grade 18 is a promotional entry grade leather and is not something we would recommend for use on the Cumuly range
