Skovby Wood Care Oil is a high-quality treatment based on natural vegetable oils, designed to nourish and protect your furniture while maintaining its light, natural appearance. The oil penetrates deep into the wood, helping to preserve the surface and provide a water-repellent finish.

Ideal for maintaining Skovby dining tables and furniture, this oil helps keep wood looking its best with regular care and application.

Preparation: Always ensure the surface is clean before applying oil. If required, lightly sand along the grain using a fine sanding sponge (approx. 220 grit). Clean the surface using a cloth dampened with lukewarm water and a small amount of pH-neutral washing-up liquid. Wipe dry with a clean cloth and allow the wood to dry for approximately two hours.

Application: Apply the oil using a clean, lint-free cloth or sponge, working evenly along the grain of the wood. Cover all surfaces and edges with a thin, even layer. After 2–3 minutes, remove any excess oil using a clean, dry cloth while the surface is still wet.

The oil will take up to 48 hours to fully cure and provide maximum protection. For best results, repeat treatment 2–3 times per year or as required.

Important: Before fully cured, the oil may transfer onto clothing and fabrics. This may not be removable.

Safety Notice: Oil-soaked cloths and sponges can be subject to spontaneous combustion. After use, store safely in an airtight metal container or dispose of immediately in a controlled and safe manner.
