The Vispring Devonshire mattress is made purely using British wool as a filling with hand nested Vispring calico encapsulated pocket springs made from resilient vanadium steel. The Devonshire is the top model of the Original collection with a viscose wool blend mattress ticking to create a feeling of sensation and luxury to the user from the locally sourced Devonshire fleeces to create a sleeping on the clouds effect.
As a divan bed the Devonshire is partnered with the Wool deluxe base using 600 hand nested calico pocket springs in a king size using a solid timber frame from FSC certified materials then upholstered with British fleece wool, Cotton & Natural coir and covered in your choice of luxury Vispring fabric.
The Devonshire mattress has 2 rows of traditional hand side stitching to ensure edge to edge support with an increased spring count and sits as the third model in the Vispring range.
Traditionally handmade using true hand side stitching - a meticulous process to join the mattress borders to the internal honeycomb nested springs to reduce a roll off feel when close to the edge of the mattress - this traditional process has been used for many years and ensures edge to edge support.
The Devonshire mattress is a turnable and can also be rotated throughout the year to ensure longevity - this is done using the sewn handles on the outside of the mattress border. By turning and rotating not only are you increasing the longevity of the mattress you are also given 2 sleeping surfaces as both sides of the mattress are filled with luxurious fillings.
