Himolla Stratus 2 Seater Electric Recliner Sofa - Heart Balance

The Himolla Stratus 2 Seater Electric Recliner Sofa. Contemporary in style yet engineered for long-term support, the Stratus combines modern design with Himolla’s renowned German precision. As standard, the Stratus uses Himolla’s advanced 2 motor Cumuly electric recline system, allowing independent adjustment of the backrest and footrest, along with a fully adjustable power headrest. The discreet control panel is positioned neatly between the seat cushion and arm, providing intuitive and effortless operation. The Cumuly action refers to the progressive reclining movement where the backrest gently tilts as the footrest opens. This natural motion enhances lumbar support and encourages a relaxed seating posture. Unlike manual versions, the electric function allows the footrest to be stopped in any chosen position for more precise comfort control. The optional Heart Balance function (Zero Gravity) extends the recline sequence once the footrest is fully open. The chair continues to move into a position where the legs are elevated slightly above heart level, helping to improve circulation, reduce spinal pressure and create a deeply relaxed, weightless seating experience. A choice of soft or medium cast cold cure foam is available in the seat cushions, allowing personalised comfort. The generous high back incorporates discreet lumbar shaping and an electrically adjustable headrest, ensuring excellent neck and lower back support without compromising the clean, contemporary aesthetic. Sleek metal legs are available in stainless steel or anthracite finishes, reinforcing the modern styling. The Stratus range is also available in manual, fixed and Wall Hugger versions (Model 4091), requiring just 14cm of wall clearance to fully recline. Designed for modern living, this Wall Hugger model allows full recline with minimal space behind the sofa. Using Himolla’s Cumuly Wall Hugger recline system, the Azure requires just approximately 15cm of wall clearance to fully recline, making it ideal for more compact spaces or where positioning away from the wall is not practical. The recline mechanism operates via a single motor system per seat, creating a smooth, coordinated movement. As the control panel is activated, the footrest opens progressively, and once fully extended, the backrest gently reclines into a comfortable position. This linked action provides supportive, natural comfort throughout the movement. The electric function allows the footrest to be stopped in your chosen position, offering flexible leg support compared to manual recliners which typically open into a fixed position. Operation is controlled via a discreet side-mounted control panel located next to each seat. The Azure can also be used with an optional external rechargeable battery, ideal for placement away from a power outlet. A single Himolla battery powers the sofa, typically providing around 150 full movements between charges (approximately 2–3 weeks of use). An electrically adjustable headrest ensures excellent support when reclined, allowing you to comfortably watch television or read. The Azure is available with a choice of Superlastic seat foams in soft or medium tensions, delivering body-responsive comfort and long-term support. With a choice of over 100 fabric and leather options, along with a range of leg finishes including stainless steel, anthracite or wood, the Azure can be tailored to suit both modern and classic interiors. A generous high back and integrated lumbar shaping ensure excellent lower back support without compromising its clean, contemporary design. The Azure is also available as a standard Cumuly recliner (Model 4080), offering independent adjustment of the backrest and footrest and requiring greater wall clearance. 2 Seater Electric Wall Hugger Recliner Sofa Requires approx. 15cm wall clearance to fully recline Cumuly Wall Hugger recline system Single motor recline action per seat (linked footrest and backrest) Electrically adjustable power headrests Discreet side-mounted control panel Optional rechargeable battery for wireless operation Approx. 150 movements per charge (2–3 weeks typical use) Choice of Superlastic soft or medium seat foam Available in a wide choice of fabric and leather finishes Stainless steel, anthracite or wooden leg options Matching Azure swivel recliner chair available Standard recliner version also available (greater adjustment flexibility) Removable arms for easier access (delivery team can assist) 5 Year Guarantee on frame, leather or fabric & foams 2 Year Guarantee on moving and electrical parts
