Skovby SM33 Round Extending Table

The Skovby Sm33 circular dining table uses a unique patented extending mechanism. Deigned to seat 6-9 people the unique shape of the SM33 is an updated version of the SM32, the updated styling from the angled base with feature lines make the SM33 a contemporary Scandinavian design. The table is operated using a large wheel under the table top, handles are cut neatly around the circumference of the wheel allowing you to hold the wheel and rotate, when the wheel is turned the 3 leaves open outward to reveal a further 3 leaves stored neatly in the base. The leaves in the base are the gently pushed down and then with the assistance of a spring mechanism rise up from the base to carefully be placed in position at which point the wheel under the table is turned in the opposite direction and the leaves are locked into position.  Each table is handmade in Denmark in your choice of finish with the option of solid, veneered, or nanotechnology treated tops. Skovby SM27 Extending Dining Table - Seats Up To 20

The Skovby SM27 table is made in Denmark in you choice of finish. This patented design allows for the table to be extended to set up to 16 people by inserting the 3 included leaves. Each of the leaves extend the table by 52cm giving you the option of 4 different sizes. The leaves are neatly stored underneath the top and are revealed by simply releasing the securing clips and pulling either side of the table.  The Sm27 can be further extended by purchasing the optional set of 3 extra leaves* to allow comfortable seating up to 20 people. The table is available in solid and veneered tops as well as a nano technology black finish that offers heat resistance and extra durability. The leaves are stored neatly under the table top and can then be positioned to create 3 possible sizes depending on how large you wish the table to be. The oil penetrates deep into the wood, helping to preserve the surface and provide a water-repellent finish. Ideal for maintaining Skovby dining tables and furniture, this oil helps keep wood looking its best with regular care and application. If required, lightly sand along the grain using a fine sanding sponge (approx. 220 grit). Clean the surface using a cloth dampened with lukewarm water and a small amount of pH-neutral washing-up liquid. Wipe dry with a clean cloth and allow the wood to dry for approximately two hours. Application: Apply the oil using a clean, lint-free cloth or sponge, working evenly along the grain of the wood. Cover all surfaces and edges with a thin, even layer. After 2–3 minutes, remove any excess oil using a clean, dry cloth while the surface is still wet. The oil will take up to 48 hours to fully cure and provide maximum protection. For best results, repeat treatment 2–3 times per year or as required. Important: Before fully cured, the oil may transfer onto clothing and fabrics. This may not be removable. Safety Notice: Oil-soaked cloths and sponges can be subject to spontaneous combustion.
