An evolution of the well known Windsor chair, the Quaker features a distinctive high back and 6 wooden spindles.   A solid ash wood frame with the legs carefully attached using wedge joints, a method whereby the legs are installed into the seat structure, with a wedge hammered into the joints and carefully sanded for a smooth finish.
