The Ercol Windsor dining chair is a classic ercol design. Featuring a distinctive curved back, each chair is manufactured using traditional techniques including steam to shape the chairs bow back. A solid ash wood frame with the legs carefully attached using wedge joints, a method whereby the legs are installed into the seat structure, with a wedge hammered into the joints and carefully sanded for a smooth finish. This method ensures the legs are securely fitted to the chair whilst the H frame provides additional strength to the design.  The seat itself is shaped to provide a saddle style seat to provide a comfortable and supportive sit.  Choose from a selection of wood finishes which are all lacquered to seal the surface ensuring low maintenance and longevity.
