The user than pushes back in the seat for the backrest to move into your chosen position. This action differs to the cumuly function as the mechanism is sprung rather than gas sprung. To close the footrest you push the footrest down with your legs to the closed position. The wall hugger action requires just 15cm when compared to the standard 42cm of a non wall hugging variant.
