The Himolla Cumuly Mosel electric recliner is manufactured in Germany in your choice of leather and wood choices. Choose from a wide selection of leather colours and qualities as well as a choice of 21 different stained beech woods for the frame. Known for its superior lower lumbar support, the Mosel features a generously cushioned lower lumbar region and a supportive tailored seat cushion with a choice of a medium or soft feel cold cure seat interior. The electric version offers superior adjustment when compared to the manual version, the footrest and backrest are operated independently via the inline remote control that neatly stores in a side pocket on the chair. The dual motor system uses German made motors to ensure superior reliability and smooth movement, the main advantage of the electric version when compared to the manual is the ability to stop the footrest in your desired position as well as the ability to change the chairs position effortlessly. The Mosel 8948 model replaces the previous 7348 & features a longer footrest and new adjustable ratchet headrest - the footrest overall length is increased to improve leg comfort. Featuring a 360 degree swivel mechanism and manually adjustable headrest the mosel is available in 2 sizes a Maxi and Midi version as well as an additional removable height ring option to raise the chair by 2.5cm for taller users. The height ring is made in the chosen matching wood and can easily be applied and removed if required. The Mosel is available in a choice of Superlastic soft or Superlastic medium seat foam interiors, both seats use a cold cure foam rather than a cut foam, this method sees the seat interior cast into the shape and contours of the seats design, this ensures support and longevity. The Soft version has been developed especially for the UK market as traditionally we are know for preferring a softer & supportive seat. The electric mosel recliner is also available with an optional external battery option, this allows for completely wireless operation using a rechargeable battery that is easily removed and replaced for recharging with the base station - The chair as standard includes the required power cable for mains operation meaning when the battery option is purchased you have an alternate method of powering the chair when recharging. To operate the backrest of the chair you simply pull the matching leather toggle located to the side of the chair and lean back, the gas assisted movement ensures a smooth action and by releasing the toggle the backrest will stay in your desired position. To return the chair to the upright position simply pull the toggle and the backrest will follow your movement. The footrest is independently operated to the backrest and is integrated into the chair, the unique action is simply operated by pushing back into the chair, by doing so the footrest comes into position. To retract the footrest you push downwards with your legs and it retracts easily.
