Skovby SM72 Oval Extending Dining Table

The Skovby SM72 oval extending dining table is a classic example of Skovby's inventive design. The table when closed will happily seat 4 people but with the opening of the leaves seat up to 6 people. A stylish stainless steel base give the table a contemporary style combined with the easy to use extension mechanism making this table a perfect solution for rooms requiring a smaller dimensiones table. A larger version is also available - the (Model SM73)

The SM72 table has the leaves built in that store neatly under the table top, by releasing the catch under the table the reciprocating action means that one side of the table needs to be pulled with the opposite side opening at the same time, the leaves are then revealed which then by simply pushing down on them open out on a butterfly mechanism using a spring loaded action requiring meaning little effort is required to extend the table.
